United Way of the Desert supports youth care, family and emergency care, and health care through programs and services provided by 25 agencies. In order to qualify as a member agency, an agency must follow a set of standards and policies that have been determined by United Way's volunteer Board of Directors. These policies deal with financial accountability and agency operations.
